I've been following The Rise and Fall of InsaneJournal via twitter and had to say I'm glad things seems to start getting better. Soon IJ will be up, I hope, so yay!
Specially glad people there haven't lost anything. A relief.

This means tomorrow hopefully I may be able to start a journal there "just in case". All my f-list is here, so I don't know all this will end XD But you never know.

One thing irks me, and is that IJ seems a smaller and less "serious" service that LJ is. Yeah, LJ's policy is really surrealist and is pissing off entire fandoms with excessive easiness, but their service is stable and kind of "professional".

Any IJ user there that can talk about how IJ works? And if this is a rare event or is happening more often now than before?

For what I've seen this doesn't happen very often; in fact the owner was trying to get more funds to change servers. What I like of the site (apart from the icons :P is how the owner talks to the users).
