Q: Sam...
Sam: yes?
*Q gets really close to Sam*
Q: the year is 2009, right?
Sam: yes.
Aww, bless.
I think I'll refrain from watching the rest of Torchwood as soon as it's aired. I'm just not ready to read all the stuff the fandom is generating. Too much to think about. And I can see wank on the horizon, after yesterday's chapter.
I'll watch all of it this weekend, probably, when I'm allowed (by myself) to vegetate and do fandom stuff (like read entries about Torchwood Season 3 (is it even a season? some people call it by the name, "Children of Earth"; others say "season three"; others just "torchoowd")). I will be dead of awesome, so don't expect me to comment it (even as incoherently as I tend to do from time to time).
Meanwhile, weather has improved. No rain, no storm; just cloudy. Air is fresh and the atmosphere is a bit cleaner; that's why rain is good for us.
Of course, some people here in my office now are bitching about how cooooold it is out there and whyyyyy are we having so lowww temperatures and generally in need of a whaaaambulance.
Meanwhile meanwhile, now that we have Champions Online system requirements. I need to think about my next step. Very closely.
What should I do? I can
- buy a new desktop, that will replace NeoSumomo.
- buy a laptop, and use NeoSumomo for daily stuff and The Laptop to play only.
Things to consider:
- AspireOne, my notebook. I know it's just for internet stuff, but, well, I need to have its existence in mind.
- I'll be moving soon(ish). Perhaps next month, perhaps... not next month.
And that's about it.
I'm not sure about replacing NeoSumomo. It works fine, but it's kind of heavy and a bit redundant to have two main computers for one person.
There's also the option of The Laptop replacing NeoSumomo. And keep NeoSumomo as backup computer.
And in this case (the Laptop as main computer), I could use AspireOne as backup / emergency computer and sell / give NeoSumomo.
Before any action is taken, though, I'll investigate to see if I can find laptops that meet the recommended requirements. But I'm open to suggestions, so feel free to drop a comment and resolve my technowoes!
Or, if you're interested in NeoSumomo, let me know (if you live in Spain is better? Idk). Like, if you have an old computer and can't get a new one. It's a good computer, three years old, dual core and all that stuff (NeoSumomo is the "I have two of everything!" computer. But I can't respond about the graphic cards. Seems they're not working as well as they should). It's huge, yes, but it's so cute (also, blue).

Date: 2009-07-09 06:10 pm (UTC)¿¿Con tres años ya consideras a NeoSumomo viejecita?? Entiendo las otras razones pero, como orgullosa poseedora de un vejestorio de nueve años y medio (que va lentito y hace un ruido de mil demonios, pero tira) me haces sentir mal ;_; Como si mi trastito fuese la Sara Montiel de los ordenadores ;_;

Date: 2009-07-10 07:37 am (UTC)¿Vieja? No, no la he llamado vieja. O no era mi intención! ;_; Pobre NeoSumomo!!

"Q: Sam...
Sam: yes?
*Q gets really close to Sam*
Q: the year is 2009, right?
Sam: yes."

Amo a Onsokumaruuuu.
