And if I learned something from pokémon is that shiny is awesome. On the other hand, I have to admit that yes, more money is not all that good as a temptation. For me, anyway. Or right now.

You know, I am agitated, but I know perfectly the reason. Or reasons. I'm dealing with some stuff now (at work, and in my personal life) and am not too sure what should I do. But I'm afraid to ask for advice, because then it'll look like I make a big deal of simple stuff and everybody will judge me (harder!) and gah, whatever.
So for now I'll keep it for myself and try to work things out.

Mis manos parece que no saben si mejorar o empeorar.

Después de embadunarme concienzudamente con Neutrógena un par de veces al día, la cosa parecía ir bastante bien. No es que se fuera todo el tacto superglue de las interfalángicas proximales ni que los espacios interdigitales recuperaran tu aspecto fresco y natural, pero no empeoraban. Y eso es bueno en mi libro.

Pero esta mañana he descubierto que el meñique derecho tiene toda la primera falange en fase de iniciación de tacto superglue, y su nudillo está muy rojo, lo que me hace pensar que pronto también saltará.

Me estoy empezando a preocupar, voy a ver si logro concertar una visita al médico.

Que por otra parte me da apuro, porque nunca sé qué hacer con los médicos: si vas a verles se quejan de que saturas los CAP con nimiedades y tonterías. Pero no te puedes automedicar esas tonterías, porque esto está fatal, ¿en qué año de la carrera de Medicina estás? Pero para cualquier síntoma atípico o comportamiento anómalo es recomendable que visites a tu médico de cabecera tan rápido como sea posible. Pero los CAP están saturados con gente que podría quedarse en casa con sus tonterías. Pero no te puedes automedicar esas tonterías, porque está fatal...

I'm extremely excited about X-Men First Class hitting theatres today. OMG TODAY. In part thanks to all those trailers in television, which lately I've been watching a lot. (Sex and the city seems to be a perfect show to do house chores. And even exercise!) But it's notall thanks to the trailers, because I am such a X-men fanboy that almost anything related to the franchise gets my inmediate attention. (And squees.)

OMG TODAY.

Yes, there's no Jean Grey, and the movie!timeline seems a bit damaged, with Emma so young (clashing with X-men-Origins-Wolverine!Emma) and Havok being the older brother (poor Scott) but I so needed another X-men movie to watch obsessively. I know by heart most of the dialogues of the X-men trilogy both in spanish and english, I really need another one to add to my movie rotations.
Also, I'm curious about how they'll explain Havok's power. It seems the costume plays an important part on them, if I get right what trailers are showing. (I usually don't, mostly because my mind works in strange ways.)

And I'm suddenly digging young!Xavier and young!Erik, by themselves and when tey're together. I love that pairing, in all its forms. And also unexpected!Nightcrawler's father, which I hope is as awesome as Kurt was.
Not sure about Emma, because even if I dislike the character and still don't trust her, I also like her as a character for being so self-confident and powerful and for earning everyone's respect (not mine, though). I find her very interesting, but still don't like her. As I said before, my mind, strange place. I want movie!Emma to be faithful to comic!Emma, but I know that means I'll dislike her. I have a weird relation with Emma, because she's wrong and evil and yet she's awesome and painfully right.
And I'm in love with Banshee just for that moment in the trailer when he's fly!shouting over the sea. I just love that.

I want good action scenes, but also good dialogue and character interaction, because that's what most of the time the great issues are made of. I want the movie to really explore those first moments in movie!verse when the idea of the X-men was born, to learn a bit more about how Erik and Xavier tried to understand each other, get a common ground on their different (opposed?) points of view and fail miserably. Okay, maybe I want a bit of angst, because you can't have a good movie about mutants without making them feel marginalized and hated for no other reason than being born different.

If everything goes according to plan, I'll go to watch it with my sister and father next Monday. I have great expectations for this movie, yes, but it will be difficult to let me down. Specially after X-men: The Last Stand fiasco. At least now I've really learned the lesson and know that movie!verse has sometimes nothing to do with comic!verse, and that's a good thing. I'll allow myself to enjoy winks to the comics, but that's it.
Also, I'm mostly spoiler free, so I don't really know what they're doing in this one. That turns up the hype even more :D

Recently I'm reading a lot of Men's Health articles. It appeared one day on my google!reader and didn't care to remove it, and so I got caught by its randomness.
