old and new series for next season
May. 21st, 2010 10:05 amEvery year
ihearttoronto puts up a list of Fall TV shows that are renewed or cancelled, and the new TV shows that will be aired. This year's list is up! :D
I'm so glad to hear we'll have more The Big Bang Theory and Bones. I'm late at the Bones party, but I plan to catch up as soon as I'm done with more pending series.
Chuck keeps going, and I feel it's time to give it a try. Not sure yet, though.
Happy to hear that Castle and Criminal Minds have one more season. I've heard good things of both, and will pick them up when my ToWatch list is a bit shorter.
And Glee!! Yay! :D The more chapters we get, the higher chance we have of seeing Mary Cherry there.
Desperate Housewives is one show that I keep wanting to watch, but I always never get to it.
The CSI triad gets another season. Yay for ex-Providences :D
My sister will be quite happy to know that Grey's Anatomy will return next fall. She's quite a fan!
Medium gets one more season, and that means I'm one more season behind D: I really, really like the show, but I'm still torn about what to do with it: should I buy it via amazon or should I wait for the spanish release? I love our dub.
How I met your mother will reach season six. I'll admit I tried jumping in when the fifth season started, but dropped it in episode 5 or so.
One Tree Hill and The OT keep going? Whoa. (Is the slash!eyesex in The OT still ever-present?)
I've heard next Smallville season, the 10th, will also be the last one. Let's hope so. Even if recently it's been great, I think it's time for it to end. (Clark, you don't yet know how to fly? *facepalm*). And still weary of what will happen in Supernatural's next season.
I'm really, really glad V has got a second season.I want Diana, damnit!
Ghost Whisperer cancelled, huh? Hmm.
No surprise with Dollhouse or Eastwick. I liked Eastwick, though, so I'm not really happy about letting it go.
Also not surprised at the cancellation of Romantically challenged. It didn't get any chance to grow or develop. Yes, it was a bit lackluster. But it wasn't bad per se. Some sitcoms don't really start until they've aired some episodes, and a season of six episodes is not giving the writers much time to do anything.
I'm crossing everything for some sort of Heroes epilogue.
No ordinary family = Sam.setCurrentMood(":D :D :D");
If they manage to keep the The Incredibles's feel and tune down the drama, it has real potential.
And then we have The Cape, one hour(-ish) drama, also superhero-themed. Didn't know about it before yesterday, when it got mentioned in a City of Heroes forum thread, so still not sure about it. Is a drama, and lately I prefer more lighthearted heroic stuff than dramatic, so...
Then we have The Defenders, which doesn't sound all that bad and has Jerry O'Connell (Crossing Jordan).
And I don't know about the rest, so I'm done.
No word of US!Torchwood. /hmm
eta: Reading Todoseries take on the NBC new series I've learned that Fran Kranz (Dollhouse) stars in Friends with Benefits.
