This last night's been a very busy night. I've visited
marsha_theturk while
hasdiel was spending some days with her, reunited with some old friends from school, checked some apartments (one of them with one of my school friends. But the rent was bizarrely expensive, like 1500€ per month, without counting food and water and all that. Well, it was a dream, things can get absurd there), walked alone at night for hours just because I wanted to, and wrote code.
(I went to
marsha_theturk's to use her Mac, apparently. I got away with it because she was not there. BTW, the mac in my dream was... not exactly like that. It was more like this. Minus the pink. That should've told me it was a dream.)
My dreams sometimes are busier than my real life. The are also more interesting, but that happens with all my dreams. (No, really.)
The funny part is that the code I wrote was actually good. So good that I held to the idea as I went through the different awakening phases (you know, first comes the "FFFFF--" phase, then the "I'll call sick" phase, then the "I need to pee" phase", and by the time you're up and ready to start dressing and wash your face, you've lost ten minutes), and coded it as soon as I got to work. Lo and behold, the code worked, solved my problems and made my life easier.
Thanks, dreaming!Sam, for helping your awake!self.
(I should either sleep more or sleep at work.)

And did you get to the sea and could breath underwater?
Yay! indeed!! I got rid of a coding headache that was haunting me for some days!

Date: 2010-04-15 09:13 am (UTC)The wandering around in trains or waiting for a bus sounds intriguing!! Do you search for things? Take in the scenery?
And did you get to the sea and could breath underwater?
I remember thinking, as I hit the water, "wow, what a soft landing" but before I could actually feel the water I woke up. Am still a bit miffed about that :(

Date: 2010-04-18 09:40 pm (UTC)This night I've been jumping from train to train, facing extremely long waits in a station because there was some sort of accident (the train came all patched. I might've LOLed), going to the cinema with my sister because the train took so long to get there, and then being amazed by how the train could take L-turns without breaking, crashing or killing us all.
The only memorable train!dream I've had is the one where I was being kidnapped by a monster in a train and Spain!Torchwood came to my rescue :D Sad part is, that's the only thing I remember from that dream.

Aww :( One of the best things about dreaming you're underwater is trying to hold your breath while you're there, and then go all "to hell with this" and start breathing without problems.
